September 27, 2024: Enrolment is now open for the 2nd Cohort of the Sola Abulu & Associates (SA&A) CPD Standards Office – Accredited , coming up online on October 31, 2024 from 9AM – 4PM WAT

In a formal launch statement, Sola Abulu noted that many businesses and organizations plan for every type of crisis apart from the one that actually threatens their reputation and license-to-operate.

Any issue, event, incident or development that threatens your REPUTATION, (societal) LICENSE-TO-OPERATE and is generating negative sentiment amongst a broad spectrum of existing and emerging STAKEHOLDERS – is a full-fledged crisis.

Effective crisis management requires specialist skills developed via targeted classroom training and simulated practise. Crisis management rests on pre-established protocol, structure, processes and standards. It is therefore impossible to effectively manage a crisis without an understanding of best practise frameworks and knowledge of applicability to your current context.

In the session on 31 Oct, Sola will be covering the following areas:

⚡ How to avoid common mistakes and learn from best practices.
⚡The role of the Crisis Communications Lead and frameworks that help to proactively manage and ethically de-escalate

⚡Concepts & Principles of Reputation Management
⚡How to measure and quantify success

The session will include a segment on Crisis Leadership with crisis scenarios in break-out sessions, to help participants simulate how to manage real-life crisis contexts.
